I don't know a whole lot about this beautiful set.It is a shiny gold color set.I don't know what kind of material/metal it is made out of...I am 99% certain that is not 'Brass'. "IF" I were to take wild guess at it (don't hold me to this) it looks like maybe gold plated metal?? The 10 pieces are: 2 gold trimmed glasses - 3 1/2" tall x 2 1/4" across top - there is a lot of wear to the gold trim 2 saucers - 3 1/4" across 2 - 4 1/2" long spoons 1 16" x 8" heavy platter that everything sits on1 bowl (maybe for tea leaves?) 3 1/2 wide x 1 7/8" tall 1 - strainer (for tea leaves?) 5 3/4" long1 - tongs (no clue what they would be for...) 4 1/2" long 2 tongs Some of our items are pre-owned, vintage, or antique and so may show signs of previous wear or age.
