They are the lightest on the market. New Old Stock. Replace your standard 5-40 nuts with this special Ultra Light Thin axle nuts, precision ground for easier mounting on the 1/8" threaded 5:40 axles. Note: Measurements 0.07" X 0.230" with 5:40 thread 1/8" ID. NOTE: The pics also show other nuts and axles. They are for viewing comparison "ONLY" and are not in this offering. In the pictures the Lower Nut is a Standard Nut, the middle is a Super Thin HP Nut #2000 and the Top Nut is our Ultra Light Thin nut #2005 in this listing. This is a New Old Stock item, made in the 1960's by Dynamics Models Inc. Part # 2005 These fit 1/24th, 1/25th and 1/32nd scales. My Dad owned a Hobby Shop that closed in the early 1970's, and he kept some of the more interesting slot cars and accessories from that era.
