If you have the base kit and the skills, this set will get you close to a museum-quality showpiece. You might still want to add a wooden deck, which is not included in this set (but I may still have one listed). This set will get your DKM Bismarck looking just as she did in 1941. In 2012, Trumpeter released a fantastic kit (TRP #3702) of the famed DKM Battleship Bismarck in 1/200 scale. As good as that kit is, aftermarket teams scrambled to create sets to allow for super-detailing and hyper accuracy. Pontos put together this massive Basic Detail Up set with enough parts to practically cover the Bismarck from bow to stern in the finest photo etched metal and turned brass. After looking through the high-resolution photos of the set installed on an unpainted kit, all of the turned metal barrels and masts, each of the eleven huge frets and all the resin, you will either be tremendously excited or absolutely terrified at the prospect of owning this Detail Up Set! They even give you the entire manual in full color so you know what you are getting yourself into. Without coming close to doing the set justice, they simply list the contents as: 1.
