Description: WHITE SOUL STRAWBERRY 100 SEEDS Fragaria vesca Containers Heirloom Non-GMO USA WHITE WONDER STRAWBERRY 100 SEEDS AUTUMN PERENNIAL HEIRLOOM NON-GMO FRUIT USA We are proud to welcome you to The Green Grove Garden. We have been active farmers and plant propagators for a number of years, and we specialized in the production of plant plugs, or basically miniature seedlings, for our on farm use. As such, we learned a great deal about seedling production and also the proper storage, handling and identification of quality seeds through intensive hands on experience. Consequently, we're excited to be able to offer you the finest and freshest seeds available. Here is another of our favorite offerings: WHITE WONDER STRAWBERRY FRAGARIA VESCA * This beautiful, cream colored Non-GMO strawberry yields an abundance of berries over an extended growing season and serves as an interesting ground cover. * White Wonder is an improved perennial variety of the extremely sweet wild, alpine strawberries. * The flavor is has a unique, sweet taste and some liken it to a cross between a strawberry and pineapple. * The White Wonder seems to have more disease resistance and isn't as affected by pest pressure as much as the more domesticated varieties. * It does very well in shade being a direct descendant of wild strawberries. * Birds and other pests are more likely to leave it alone because of the lack of red pigments which seem to be a bird attractant, so having netting and other protective covers over the berries are unnecessary. * The leaves are excellent in herbal teas and are very rich in Vitamin C. In fact, the Vitamin C content of these strawberry leaves is amongst the highest of plants! * There are, supposed, benefits to using the green, leafy part of this strawberry plant. It is said to help the skin in a number of ways. * White Wonder strawberry is a low growing, small plant and will do wonderful in hanging baskets, window boxes and other containers. * White Wonder is also appealing to a number of pollinators and is a bee attractant. * Strawberry flowers will attract a number of beneficial insects to the garden and, in turn, bring balance to it. We also offer numerous other complementary herbs, vegetables and flowers for the garden. Check out our other items for additional varieties of flowers!
