These lifters will fit all 1932-1953 engines execpt the 60hp. All 16 lifters are new and are in perfect condition and ready to install and run in engine, All of the adjusting screws are tight. These are hollow body lifters which are much lighter than the solid lifters which are available today by Hi lift lifter company,and they are twice the quaility of the solid adjustable lifters made today and helps keeps the valve train as light as possible. These lifters weigh 79 grams each and solid adjustable lifters weigh 115 grams each, that is a 36 grams difference per lifter. These NOS Hollow lifters mean also better oil control in lifter bores for lubrication and oil is lighter than steel. That makes a little difference and that adds up to quicker rev ups and takes some of the sluggish throttle response out of the flathead engines.
