SIZE: The printed area including titles is approximately 11 x 14 cm (4.25 x 5.5 inches) plus margins with a blank back (small). ARTIST/CARTOGRAPHER/ENGRAVER: George Shaw (1751-1813) collaborated with Frederick Nodder (1770-1800), who was responsible for the distinctive illustrations in the Naturalist’s Miscellany. The hand colored plates in this work are prized by collectors for their true to life qualities and are becoming increasingly harder to find as the supply vanishes.
