Description: Enos Bronson was an American writer and publisher, most noted as first head of the Deerfield Academy. He was allied with the Federalist Party and spent much of his career in Philadelphia. The articles within these reviews cover a variety of topics as well as some poetry and recommended readings. There is a page (page 11/12) with notations throughout the margin at the bottom carried over to the next page which begins, “A Relation of mine...”. What is legible indicates a tale of the cousin visiting Lisbon. It looks as if it has been trimmed away, top and bottom, and at the bottom of page 12, is signed “E. B.” From the Library Company of Philadelphia.
