Description: Here's a crude early olive amber Double Success To The Railroad flask blown at the Coventry Glass Works in the 1830s.....I believe this is grouped by McKearin as GV-5......the front and back of flask are embossed the same with a horse pulling cart on rails with SUCCESS TO THE RAILROAD emb around the horse cart....Open Pontil...crude smooth sheared mouth ....olive amber with mostly green...pint...6 3/4"tall...Sparkling attic nice condition with only one very minor surface nick on one rail beneath cart; no other nicks or damage of any kind. Some light high point wear but not bad.
