Description: 1836 Reeded edge half dollar, PCGS VF (Almost XF!!) Extremely RARE!!!. Shipped with USPS First Class Package. An extremely rare, and highly sought-after coin! Only 1,200 of these were minted, and it is estimated that less than 1,000 survive through the current day, with many in much lower grades. I did have this authenticated by PCGS, and they came back and said it was repaired. I am pretty surprised this did not make a FULL XF grade, as it meets all of the high details for the grade, however the slight defect may have lower their grade. The only area that remotely looks repaired is in the right field of the offers, and it looks like there was just a very minor blemish there that was covered up. That does not detract from the absolute rarity of this coin, where the value can only go up in the future. definitely an amazing opportunity to acquire one of America's treasures!
