Description: Here's a very scarce paneled early yellowware fruit jar made in the 1850s or 1860s most likely at an Ohio pottery since that is where it was found.....It has a faint letter T embossed on sunken bottom and glazed over so it is hard to see....10 sided with straight panels...made in a 2 part mold....wide mouth double ring collar with ledge inside....6 1/2"tall x 3 3/4"across rim....2 3/4"across ledge inside neck....Excellent condition with only one shallow chip on inside edge of rim; no other damage. A nice clean jar.
