The vital statistics: one 1876 Belgium 5 franc coin, KM# 24, silver (0.900), 25 g (0.88 oz.) weight, actual silver weight 0.723391 troy oz., 37 mm (1.46 in.) diameter. This coin is in very fine condition. Details of the coin's designs are clear and distinct. Smoothing can be seen on the obverse portrait's beard and hair as well as the lion in the reverse coat of arms. All letters and numerals are crisp and legible. Obvious rim damage at 10:00 o'clock on the obverse. The two pairs of images were taken in the same location and under the same light. Only the background is different. I've found that a white background gives somewhat better image resolution with my camera, though it also gives the coin a misleading golden hue. The item in the photo is the one you would receive upon purchase. This is a raw coin, offered for sale as is.
