Description: This is a sepia cabinet card image of a baby in a very long ornate Christening dress. It was taken by Wm. Carstens of Chicago. The child is identified on the back as Irene Belle Tripps or Triggo, age 9 weeks. There is some age darkening spots on the back and a bit of red tissue where there was evidently a protective cover originally attached to the right side. It is otherwise in fine condition.
