Description: 1884s Sitzendorf After Meissen German Porcelain Figurine Autumn from Four Seasons Collection Gorgeous Sitzendorf porcelain figurine Allegory of Autumn, with a young boy standing playing a flute beside a young girl seated on the back of a goat holding a grape vine, on an oval naturalistic base with fruits and a foliage frieze, marked to base with under glaze blue crossed lines corresponding to 1884 - 1902. Figurine measures 6.5" X 5.5". Nice antique condition. Has chips to goat horn and ear, to the top of the flute and leaves, might have some paint loss and patina related to the age of the figurine.
