Lovingly tendered tribute to Custer by his wife. Signed by Alfred Clayton of Ilion, New York, on the front free endpaper and dated December 25, 1894. In very good condition overall - interior clean and free of foxing, front hinge loosening though binding solid, gilt to cover still bright, general light rubbing to spine and light fraying to tips.
