Description: I am selling a rare 1889 Indian Princess $1 Gold Coin. Only 28,950 of these coins were ever minted and many more have been melted down. Her bust is nicely outlined, with some facial features defined and nearly every letter of "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" shows. Most of LIBERTY can still be read on the headband! "1 Dollar" and the date are visible on the reverse. The wreath still has great detail and texture and all of the reeding can be seen on the edge of the coin. This coin was holed at some point and may have been cleaned. Still a very scarce piece to add to any type coin collection! Guaranteed authentic!
