Description: 1889 Cast Bronze medal issued to commemorate the Centennial Anniversary of the Inauguration of President George Washington. It was issued by the Committee of the Celebration in New York. The design is by Philip Martiny and the dies were engraved by Augustus Saint Gaudens. It is 112 mm (about 4 3/8") in diameter. It weighs 383 grams.
