Description: 1891 Elgin Natl Watch Co Gold Filled Case Pocket Presentation Watch for years of writing business for Metropolitan Insurance. Watch #134444. Watch is in great shape cosmetically. It has very little gold plate loss with no rub through. No dents or deep scratches. The fine engraving on the outer edges is especially impressive. It does wind and run. The stem for setting on the side appears to be missing-see photos. The front door snaps closed, the back outer door closes but does not snap into place. The glass crystal is missing. It needs a little work that a competent watch man would be able to do, and would be a great addition to any watch collection.
