The cover is generally good, with some retention of gilt titles/design. There is sunning of the spine and wear to edges and corners. The joints are intact. The inner hinges are split. The binding is good but should be handled gently. The pages are bound. One picture plate toward the rear of the book is starting to come out from the binding. The pages are in good condition with no page tears, no dog ears, and no internal handwriting. There is foxing. The frontispiece and the full page plates are in good condition. This book measures 7 1/2 inches by 5 inc hes and has 366 numbered pages including an index.
