Description: 1896 registered penalty cover from North Yakima WA to Hoquiam and returned to sender. Department of the Interior, United States Land Office, with 8 cent 1st bureau and manuscript cancel. Large double circle registered pomstark; "returned to writer" and unclaimed auxiliary markings, Hoquiam handtamp. Script straightline marking as receiver on back.
