McKinley was campaign against William Jennings Bryan and there was a big push to abandon the gold -and silver standard for backing the currency. The token is captioned "Vote for a 100 cent dollar and McKinley" and then on the reverse, "Free Silver" showing the date 1896. It measures about 2 inches in diameter.
