Description: 18ct 750 Yellow Gold Solitaire Ring W/ Natural 0.20ct Diamond - Size M - 1950s Solid 18ct yellow gold. Hallmarked “750” The ring is in good condition, it is showing a few fine scratches and has minor wear. Nothing noticeable. The ring style is a solitaire wedding ring. The ring is handmade and it is dated to the late 1950s. The main stone on this ring is a natural white diamond. The diamond has been tested and it was confirmed to be natural and it is without any colour enhancements. The diamond has an estimated carat weight of 0.20cts. There are no chips or scratches on the diamond. The diamond is not loose in its setting and it has never been removed. The setting prongs are in really good condition given the age of the ring. Has some slight wear on them. The gold purity of this ring has been tested and it was confirmed to be solid 18ct yellow and solid white gold (75.0% purity) The white metal around the setting is white gold. It is plated in rhodium. The ring has not been resized. One side of the ring has been shaved down. This was done to accommodate other rings. Never undergone any repairs. This ring can be worn alongside other rings or on its own. The ring is showing visible wear. The ring has a somewhat sharp edge which may cause discomfort when wearing it. Suitable to use as a wedding ring or it can be worn as a regular ring. The ring has an inside diameter of 16.7mm. An Australian size M. Ring band width is 1.8mm. Ring band thickness is 1.4mm. The face of this ring is 4.2mm in width and the main setting sits at a maximum height of 4.7mm. In perfectly wearable condition. Will be posted with a ring box.
