Description: 18th Century French Niderviller Hand Painted Pink Rose Floral & Gold 9 3/4 Plate Antique 18th century French Niderviller porcelain plate. Decorated with a hand painted pink rose in the center and small hand painted flowers in pink, red-orange, yellow, and blue. With scalloped gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse with a hand painted puce mark used by Niderviller. Has some wear to the gilding, a small chip to the front edge, and a large star/spider crack near the inner rim of the plate. Measures approximately 9 3/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. EW DX
