19” Vintage 1996 Gotz Puppenfabrik Soft body Play Doll

Description: Vintage 1996 Gotz Puppenfabrik Play Doll. This beautiful sleepy eye play doll was manufactured in Germany with a neck stamp mold number of 120/16. The stamp was used in the late 80’s through the mid 90’s associated with variety of doll types. The 1996 Puppenfabrik line offered a non articulated play doll that doesn’t sit or stand without aid. Made with soft bodied shoulders, upper arms, torso, hips and thighs. The head, legs, arms are all made of vinyl. It also has thin woven neck straps. The doll’s head has deep rooted brunette or brown hair and is soft to the touch. Her hair has tightly curled bangs resembling the articulated Gotz Emily doll from 1989. The doll has been signed and numbered from a doll artist across the soft padded torso which may signify a limited edition run of 350. The clothing is hand crafted with the Gotz name and is tagged inside with authentic manufacturer labeling. The doll itself is like new. Without box, Doll ID Tag or certificate of authenticity. It has no scratches, scuffs or discoloration on vinyl. The doll dress sports a tartan red and green pattern with white polyester frill under garments. The stockings however do have a few runs.
