It gives background information on three subjects to be considered by delegates on Friday, July 5th, one of which is the 'Position of women' in colonial universities. This illuminating section, which spans pages 5 to 15, describes the contemporary status of female students at prominent universities in the empire, including those in Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and India.Rare - we can found no reference to this pamphlet on the usual catalogue sites, such as Copac or Worldcat.Provenance: found by us laid loosely at the rear of a typescript manuscript on colonial universities by architect and educationalist Charles Robert Ashbee (1863-1942), which we presume he attended. key words:
