Description: These buffalo nickles are from 1913 thru 1938. There are many rare coins in this set. Here is some brief history on this listing. The 1926 S coin only printed 970,000. Making it a very low print and with its age its hard to find. The 1913 coin also has an error, clipping part of the coin in the planchet process. The 1913 RG S coin is an obverse that features a proud Native American profile. The reverse bears James E. Fraser's original design, which depicts an American buffalo on a raised mound.Later, in 1913, the raised mound was removed from the design- making this both a first-year issue and a one-year-only type coin! Each coin has a unique story behind it. There may be more errors and rares on the buffalo side, but I dont want to take these out of the Whitman case. Some of those errors could include the three-legged buffalo, but i dont know if it's in there or not. So I'm selling as shown in the photos. These coins were given to me before my grandfather passed. So, I just left them in the case since then. The coins are hard for my phone to pick up the images of all the dates but if you need me to take any additional photos of a specific coin just message me and I'll do my best to take that picture for you.
