Description: This book contains very nice hand made drawings of residential home construction details, such as soffitts, staircases, doors and windows etc. Clarence Martin was a Professor of Architecture at Cornell University. The original copyrights were 1899 and 1905, this edition published in 1914. Larger format-12 1/4" x 9 1/2". No page numbers and the book is only 1/2" thick. There are a students notations in pencil on the last page, perhaps the individual that put his name in front. Useful information for restoration and preservation architects and builders. A hard to find book, though there are reprints available. But something about the old paper...... Condition; I describe this as a reader copy as there was exposure to moisture that stained most of the pages, though the text and drawings are legible. This affected the front cover also. There is no smell of mildew, this happened long ago. Buyer pays cost of Media Mail. International buyers welcome. I pack carefully and use recycled materials when possible. I would be happy to answer any questions or send more photos. Returns are allowed if my description wasn't accurate. Seller pays return shipping. Please watch my auctions for other tools, especially woodworking items, paper, books, occasional bottles and who knows what else.... Thank you for looking at my store; Toby's Tools (and books)
