Description: An original, 13 April 1915 Woodrow Wilson Document, Signed as President appointing Bart Moore [Barton] of Waco, Texas (Representative of the Interior Document) to be a Commissioner to Inspect, Classify, Appraise and Value certain Lands in the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation in North Dakota. Condition: The Document overall is in fair to good, yet fragile condition [see photos]. The document is laid down on a thin backing [see photo]. There are light to moderate damp stains [see photos]. There are closed rips on the edges [see photos]. The document has chipping along all of the edges [see photos]. No glow. Paper: The document shows significant discoloration, particularly around the edges, which suggest age-related yellowing and oxidation. This is typical of older paper. The printed and written text despite the age-related wear, appears clear and legible with no significant fading. The ink quality appears to held up well. Description: 16" x 19-7/8".
