Description: Here is a very rare Kelmet “Big Boy” dump truck these were manufactured by the Kelmet Corp. of New York. Some were manufactured with spoked wheel this one has the solid steel wheels. Except for the a replacement tail gate the truck is original. They originally came with white rubber tires which were wrapped over the wheels, those are missing. Other than that the truck is in very good condition all original condition with no brakes, restoration, repairs or touch ups. This piece shows usual Patina, fading, dust, chips, scuffs, metal discoloration, scratches and wear for this age toy. The wheels are solid and the dump bed work perfectly with the crank and scissor left. Whit is pressed into the running boards and the radiator 26 ½ “ long and 15 Lb.
