Description: Sheet music copyrighted 1928. Entitled " I Never Believed in Lucky Numbers"-- 3 page sheet music with legendary Red Grange on the cover. Cover has him in street clothes but also in an action football pose. Grange was injured and out in 1928 before joining the Chicago Bears in 1929. He spent 1927 before his knee injury, with the New York Yankees of the NFL rival league the American Football League-- the AFL and the football Yankees were short lived. Grange is rightly credited with the emergence of the NFL as a legitimate sports enterprise. he is hailed by many as the Babe Ruth of pro football. He was acclaimed not only as a pro player but was a college player who changed the game. His vintage ( 1920's) collectible items are few and far between. This one is large, ( 9 1/4" x 12 1/4"), visually stunning, and in excellent shape. I have not seen another------- free shipping
