Description: Up for sale is a 7 x 11" photo that has been produced from my original old negatives of Meade View Company postcards, a company that sold real photo postcards of numerous Maine towns and views in the 1920's, 1930's, and early 1940's. What you see is exactly what the postcard looked like, only better, since we cleaned up the negative, sharpened the image, and printed it from a .tif file, with glossy format on quality photo paper. The back of the photo is blank. This view is of Kennebunk Beach, Maine, in the 1930's/early 40's. Wonderful scene of swimmers and sunbathers gathered on the beach. The sign in the center is advertising "Dipsy Baths" and "Sun Courts", whatever they are!? Nice summer cottages and grand hotels, up and down the beach!
