Description: Up for sale is a 4 x 6" photograph that has been produced from my original old negatives of Meade View Company postcards, a company that sold real photo postcards of numerous Maine towns and views in the 1920's, 1930's, and early 1940's. What you see is exactly what the postcard looked like, only better, since we cleaned up the negative, sharpened the image, and printed it from a .tif file, with glossy format on quality photo paper. The back of the photo is blank. This view is of a grand hotel, the Narragansett By The Sea, on Kennebunk Beach, Maine, in the late 1930's. Great detail of Indian shutters on all of the windows! I believe the Narragansett is now full of luxury condos! Excellent condition, very sharp and clear, great 1930's scene, perfect for framing!
