Description: A nice naval cover mailed from the U.S.S. Jason, a U.S. Navy collier. Franked with United States Scott #707, the 2¢ George Washington stamp from the 1932 Washington Bicentennial series. The stamp is tied to the cover by a three-bar U.S.S. Jason postmark dated June 30, 1932, with an illegible word and "Bremerton" between the bars. On the reverse is a Bremerton, Wash. Navy Yard Sta. machine cancel dated June 30, 1932. The Jason was decommissioned on June 30, 1932. This cover measures 152mm x 86mm.
