Description: This is a OHMS type envelope, franked with the complete set. There are no contents to prove what was sent, but this type of cover was often used to fulfil orders for stamps, especially SJ stamps at this time. Neil Donen has prepared a series of 3 articles about this kind of cover and the related stamp orders, which have appeared in Gibbons Stamp Monthly. The stamps are cancelled LOBATSI 20 June 1935. On the reverse is a further strike of the cancel and a WARRINGTON receipt mark dated 5 June 1935. The cover has been opened by carefully lifting the backflap, so the cover is intact.
