New York: Lucrezia Bori, 72 (shown), the Spanish-born soprano who once had the opera world at her feet, died early 5/14 of a brain hemorrhage. Miss Bori had been in a coma at Roosevelt Hospital since 5/3. She was one of the last of the great divas of opera's "Golden Age." She was reigning favorite at the Metropolitan Opera House here from 1912 to 1915 and from 1921 until her retirement in 1936. Photo measures 8.5 x 7.25 inches. Photo is dated 05-14-1936.
