Description: 1940ish Roy Wolfe Celilo Falls photo boy selling for old Indian to tourists. I say 1940ish because Roy Wolfe worked at Bolton Photo Studios in The Dalles wasco county, where he grew up (1914-1992) By 1944 he went to work in Portland at the Oregonian Newspaper. On the back it is stamped his name and a mention of fish prices in the depression. So that is over and he might have taken the photo before he moved. So 40-43 and had it with him or maybe it was 1944. I have a couple other auctions going up of Roy's photos of Celilo when he worked at Boltons, but they were his own personal photos. My Mother got them from his Mother after he died. She was 100 when she passsed the next year. My Mother gave them to me in 99 along with a bunch of other family photos of Celilo that I will be putting up.. I am shocked no one has jumped in on this, Maybe many have no idea who Roy Wolfe was. This one is 7 X 5 inches. No X's on originals I do combine shipping, So look around My shipping is reasonable for ground advantage packages. I ship very well as one can see by my feedback. If you want your card tossed in an envelope without tracking then sure, it can be less. Anything that cannot be bent or twisted USPS will charge you a package rate, and it is more in person retail at the post office. If the envelope is rigid & non bendable it gets billed a package rate. I will try to send ASAP but now have it set at 3 business days. I am too old to be rushing every day. If you see typos etc it is probably from the medical issues I have, I'm not going to overly proof check things. No spell check on here now.
