Vintage 40's Handlan of St. Louis used on C & O RY =Chesapeake & Ohio Railway lantern Railroad lamp size is 9 1/2" wide x 15" tall. Made into a house lamp. 115v with a 3 way switch WITH THE LAMP ACCESSORIES IT IS NOW 28" TALL including the 1" wood base, the lamp socket, light bulb and shade holder. It works nicely and could use a little cleaning and possibly stain and varnish the wood base. It has a few small spots of surface rust on it ("see last couple of pics").Someone has done a very nice job making this into a lamp, years ago. It has one red lens and 3 green *(As it was Originally made)*. Lenses appear to be 5 1/2" in diameter. 115v with a 3 way switch The lamp switch works as follows = 1st click on at the colored lenses only, 2nd click on at the top light only, 3rd click on with the colored lenses and the top light, and 4th click is all off.
