Description: 1940s SCHWINN NEW WORLD BIKE FRAME VINTAGE POST WWII RACER SUPERIOR TRAVELER 51! Click Photos to Enlarge Description Here is an original post war Schwinn New World bike frame and extras! (I was told 40s but the one Schwinn site says 1951. The serial number is H316443 and is stamped on the bottom of the crank housing) mens Schwinn "NEW WORLD" road cruiser bicycle frame and more which was born with 26" wheels. (could be a Superior, Racer, or other similar model. See pics and be your own judge) If you like UNIQUE original bikes, this may be a great builder bike for you. Great to restore or hard to find lightweight bike parts such as a World, New World, Traveler, Paramount, Superior etc. *Includes the original frame and cool design forks, chainguard, seat post clamp, kickstand, cranks, chain, and everything shown. *DIMENSIONS The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 21 1/2". The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22". The bike will accomadate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust. *NOTED FLAWS I got this one just like you see it. Hang it on your wall, Build it, restore it or use it for its HARD TO FIND parts! The bike was obviously repainted long ago so you can do whatever you like to personalize it and make it your own. A good basis for something great! Chrome will look nicer with time spent polishing. (some people really like the unrestored "patina" look) What you see is what you get as shown. This one has been in long term storage and cannot wait to be enjoyed once again!
