Description: 1942 Sporting News Baseball Record Book (this gem is so cool & I love baseball) Spine is still intact but LOOK AT PHOTOS. Left top of spine has separated somewhat. Corners are a bit dog eared (reasonable wear & tear) & as to be expected for something that is 82 YEARS OLD! Will be delivered in a plastic sleeve. I'm not handling it anymore. I am laughing at all the cigarette ads on the pages. Photos include the baseball "slang" from 1941. Ya'll gotta read these phrases - I am DYING laughing ! Boy, baseball players' "slang" has certainly evolved. However, 1941 "can of corn" and 2024 "can of corn" still mean the same thing lol. This will come to you with plastic sleeve and cardboard protectors on both side in a bubble mailer.
