Description: For sale, an EARLY....DATED 1946 (ALMOST 80 YEARS OLD) WHEAT EAR PENNY "OLD SCHOOL" CASINO ISSUED advertising encased cent, which says " BRIEAK THE BANK AT HAROLDS CLUB (CASINO) - YOU WILL HAVE PLENTY - RENO NEVADA" which is sadly long closed...but once located in old downtown RENO NEVADA This was an amazing old time casino in downtown Reno.....great coffee shop....amazing gun display...old west theme...amazing signs along the roads from California back in the day......Reno is not Reno without Harlods Club Reno is located in Washoe County, not far from state capital of Carson City, Sparks and Virginia City Nevada. THIS CASINO IS LONG CLOSED DOWN, MAKING THIS MORE COLLECTIBLE Many people collect these old CASINO ENCASED COINS all the years these were issued....offered here is 1946 version (about 52 years old) Encased token is bi-metallic with aluminum outer, 1946 wheat ear lincoln cent inner, horseshoe shaped, about 35mm x 42mm in size, and it displays nicely (please see pictures in gallery) To my knowledge, cent is completely original to encasement. This one is really choice! Great vintage Nevada exonumia from a classic downtown LONG GONE CLASSIC RENO NEVADA CASINO....old "HAROLDS CLUB"...
