Description: 1946-S Booker T Washington Commemorative Half Dollar - PCGS Gen 3 MS-65 - very pretty and PQ!! Here's a great example of the first year of issue for this commemorative half dollar from the San Francisco mint. Limited marks that blend well within the deep purple toning. The obverse is heavily album toned with mottled speckling that has turned purple when tilted about. In addition, more coloring flashes when tilted around the entire obverse rim - again, very limited marks and none of any major consequence. The reverse is a little lighter but has very pretty rim flashes of color - and very mark free. Very pretty and original example of this series at a great price!
