Description: 1946 Singer 221 Featherweight Portable Sewing Machine USA W/ Case AG813150. Came from a local estate. Plugged it in and it seems to work as it should, and the light works too. The cords for the foot pedal are taped up here and there and should be replaced. Machine itself has been sitting a long time and should be gone over/ oiled/ etc. Shows some normal usage wear- Much of the gold trim is intact but there are areas where its worn off. The surface does have some scratches/ scuffs here and there as seen. Pretty clean machine looks like it was kept in the case except when it was being used. Case is in good shape, does have some normal wear/ scuffs. Tray is full of thread and other accessories as seen. Serial number is AG813150 which dates it to 1946.
