Description: Description: Up for sale/auction is a 1948-49 Sports Champion Exhibits card of Johnny Lujack as a member of the Chicago Bears. Lujack is a member of the Football Hall of Fame. The 1948-49 Sports Champion Exhibit set is comprised of 46 cards, 13 of which are football players. This cards issued in 1948 had either a black/white or green tint and those issued in 1949 had a blue tint. The card shown is the card for sale which has a blue tint and was issued in 1949. (Lujack was also issued in 1948 in a black/white tint and green tint). Condition: This vintage card has been graded by the tough graders at SGC as an SGC44, VG+. Referring to the scans, the card has some minor corner wear but it does not have any creases, wrinkles, paper tears, pin holes, print marks, major staining or writing on the front or back. It nominally measures 3-3/8 x 5-3/8 and is nicely centered. Note: PSA does not grade the exhibit cards from this set for some unknown reason so graded cards are only available with SGC grading.
