Description: After having owned a fairly large amount of 1948 Leafs that have gotten a Mint 9 grade, I can confidently say that this card is just about as perfect as can be. I've certainly never seen a nicer Louis. Under proper lighting and with an 8x loupe, if you look really carefully, there is the most subtle surface paper wrinkle in the top right area. It does not go through to the reverse, and it's so extremely light. It's also not at all that close to the corner. It's so subtle. The last image is at about 15-20x enlargement, and at that level of enlargement, you can see it. You could spend five digits on a higher grade example, and the eye-appeal simply wouldn't even come close to this beauty! Further, this card also appears to be oversized. Buy the card and not the label.
