Description: Vintage Cream colored American Bisque Hexagonal cookie jar with the word Cookies on the front & 5 recipes on the sides. This cookie jar is approximately 10" tall including the cover, widest point across the bottom of the cookie jar is 6 inches and the widest width of the cookie jar is 8 inches. The recipes are of Ginger cookies, Sugar cookies, Brownies, Peanut Butter Crisscrosses and Raisin Spice cookies. The American Bisque Co. in Wellsville, WV. made this in the 1950's. There is a small blemish to the left of the word cookies and down at the bottom in a little bit of black at the bottom under the Word cookies. These all appear to be manufacturer flaws. There are some tiny blemishes/spots/dots on the top also that are manufacturer flaws. There is some discoloration on the inside bottom and also a few chips on the inside rim of the jar.
