Description: This is a nice 1950's vintage Brother Made-in-Japan Deluxe Precision sewing machine with its original fabric-covered wood carrying case. The machine features a heavy-duty cast iron chassis and steel construction for years of trouble-free use. It is serial number N186085 and it is in beautiful physical condition looking like it has seen very little use. The machine runs great with a nice smooth strong motion and the light works as well (no foot pedal included - so it just runs full tilt when plugged in, so a foot pedal will be needed to control the machine speed if wanted). The drive belt works fine but it does have one small crack / split in but this part is very easy and inexpensive to replace.
