In 1951, Bowman issued a set of 108 colorful, beautifully illustrated cards that presented buyers with a serialized science fiction adventure - "Jets Rockets Spacemen." These boldly illustrated and garishly written cards are a perfect time capsule for those who might be curious about the beginnings of the science fiction boom of the 1950's! The set has remained popular with collectors ever since. This is card #23 from the set, captioned "Rocket Repair and Formula Q." Condition on this one is nice, with light wrinkling at the upper right (see scans for condition). Pretty good for a card that's over seventy years old.
