Description: ********We are pleased to offer for sale this vintage 1953 (lower painted lashes) Vintage Madame Alexander-kins absolutely adorable HIGH COLOR LIPS Wendy Bent knees walker Doll with a cutest kitten in her bucket. Rare find with this rare, clean and perfect outfit and a very nice face! Wendy is wearing red and white swimsuit which ties on her back with red ribbon. She has a matching red and white pique bonnet. No tags. Outfit has an excellent condition, like new. Her shoes are authentic Madame Alexander, looks slightly oversized, because she hasn’t socks. Wendy has very nice face’s coloring with bright red lips, nice lashes and curved brown eyebrows. Her face is unusual, because it’s slightly glowing somehow, please see listing’s pictures. Her eyes are absolutely gorgeous, very deep gray tone.She has brown hair, a wig is in good vintage condition, it is slightly messy. However it’s stitched well, triple stitches. Her eyes works well. Her body is not so tight, it’s a slightly loose type, legs mostly.Her body may have slight aging signs, spots. Please see listing’s pictures. Her walking mechanism doesn’t work perfectly fine, her head may got stuck and sometime it doesn’t turn to the left or to the right. However if you will hold her head and turn it to the left and to the right her legs will move. So the mechanism still works somehow!Her back is signed ALEX for Madame Alexander authenticity. Her outfit looks absolutely cute. You can feel the Vintage vibes from the 1950’s.As you can see in the listing’s photo and in the video, this doll can stand on her own without support and without a stand. It usually takes a few minutes to find the right standing position for her, because her body/legs are a little loose. However she still stands perfectly fine on her own.
