Description: Listed for sale is a circa 1954 George Nelson for Herman Miller Model 4936 5-Drawer Basic Cabinet Series dresser / credenza. This is a delightfully original piece. The condition overall is very good to excellent for a vintage example with some wear from use. See photos. In the back corner of the piece, there is a small strip of veneer that came off. If desired, we can have this repaired by our woodworker prior to shipping for a small additional fee. This example has walnut casework and retains its original label, which was used during 1954 and 1955. The pulls are steel. The cabinet measures 40 inches tall by 56.5 inches wide and 18.5 inches deep. The buyer may pick up the furniture, have it shipped by our shipping partners (buyer will pay for full shipping cost, though will not have to arrange it), or discuss potential delivery within reason following the end of the auction.
