Description: The ungraded card from the "carbking" collection has very light creasing with light corner wear. The card measures roughly 3.75" x 2.75". Please review the attached pictures to assist with the condition and content of the card. The 1954 Stark & Wetzel cards were a promotional campaign where an Indianapolis 500 Winners card would be inserted in the packaging of one of their meat products. There are a total of 37 cards in this set, and they are very rare. As of this posting, a total of 49 cards have been submitted to PSA for grading, and only a single L.L. Corum and Joe Boyer card. The 1924 Indianapolis 500 credits two drivers with victory. Joe Boyer started the race in his own car and led the first lap. Unscheduled pit stops took him out of contention. His teammate, L.L Corum, was running fifth behind four Miller vehicles when car owner Fred Duesenberg called him in and switched drivers, putting Boyer in the car. Boyer would go on to win the race, and both drivers are credited with victory. This would be Boyer's last victory. He was killed just over three months later at the Altoona board track. Please review the other racing items I have listed at the eBay store, The Checkered Past. I will combine shipping and provide a refund on shipping charges for anything over cost. Thanks!
