Description: This is an original NOS 1956 Chevrolet Car Hood Emblem. This original hood emblem is new old stock Genuine GM, never installed on a vehicle. It was found in the attic of an old Chevrolet dealership over 35 years ago. This original emblem consists of a lustrous chrome die-cast outer bezel, with vibrant red, white, and blue plastic Chevrolet crest emblem at center. Emblem is clean, bright, and straight. Examined closely, some very fine faint pits are present on top side of bezel(see pics). Still a very impressive 68 year old original GM part, that will still look neat on car. Chevrolet part number for this emblem is 3721309. Chevrolet parts book states this emblem correct for '56 Chevrolet passenger cars with 6cyl. engine, but may work on others of the era. Overall length of this hood emblem measures approx. 13 7/8in. Original GM box included, but is a little ragged.
